I don’t need an umbrella when it rains
Welcoming rain
Shines
I shine
A sign
Blooms
The rain blooms
Calms the sound of the sun
Expanse is dulled
Colors attentive to those of the skies
Rocks
Exposed out in space
Abundant and real
Lighting blue morning skies
Healing the glare of my eyes
Calming my beating heart
That beats the rhythm of the sound
Unexpected feelings occur
A reflection of what I heard
And what of the obvious I see
Surrounding me
Glowing around me
A halo
A golden shadow
Follows me
A sunset glows and pulls me in
And we dance
Surrounding it

And an unnamed soul played in the desert sand
The expanse of the sun followed the wind
The sound heard from afar
Physical essence was blind
Spiritual makeup was kind
It was the pattern she heard
That revealed unknown senses
Translated to what she saw
A pattern of expanse of color
Heat, and rays she felt
Magnified higher and higher
Saw her down below
Elevated her
They became one
Those spirits of the sun
Eventually showed
And the magnitude of the space that was seen
Was made of nothing
So grand
Just a show for a time
A being for an eternity of that
It was beautiful
And eternity showed
Water caressed
Tapered her body
Warm shield penetrated it
Protected it
I don’t need an umbrella
When it shines
