Lately I’ve looked back on my poems and creating drama plays for them. I’m working on one particular play that I will be going into more depth on my other blog which is more about theatre.
If you’d like to take a look http://www.magicaplay.com The concept is new and I ask my readers to be patient. It will take time to develop and when it does, I’m sure it will be awesome.
As a lead up to the theatre play I’ve been doing some games with the children to test their interest. One aspect that I noticed was that they love to do things OUTDOORS! And so I thought of the perfect outdoors back drop. For now, take a look at my post below which will give you an idea of what I’m planning.
The video illustrates a perfect way to get children engaged in a simple and fun way. The children in the film are one year in age apart from 4 to 8 years of age! The play can be adapted to suit all interests and the outdoors creates that fun atmosphere with curious and entertained onlookers. The story is about nature, then why not act it out with a natural backdrop!
Thank you and Enjoy

Whenever you find lack of inspiration, look to the sky and open your heart.
I hope you enjoy my first attempt at making a film.
I kept it simple and easy.
T o d a y I w a s f e e l i n g a l i t t l e d i f f e r e n t .
And so I did something very different.
I was alone with the sun
And it shone on me
The colors of its rays
Called to me
I followed them with my eyes
and what I was able to see
Set them free

stars that govern the night
span the sky with abundant light
some are bright, some dimmer
the brightest are not always bigger
secrets they hold provoke wonder and hope
could they ever agree?
the dimmer not always further from me
among the illusion and confusion
keep your eye on that one star
follow it through the maze
keep your interest
and focus your gaze
study it and before you realize
time will pass enough
to eventuate a sweet surprise
a faint, quick, sharp
tear in the sky
keep it in your thoughts
and make it yours

Today my husband and I went to see the planes at the nearby runway. It is a favorite pass time for him, and I adore sunsets. And upon our venture I noticed something very special, and I filmed it.
As a girl, growing up in Darwin I loved to cloud watch and make out the shapes in the sky. I used my imagination to make out what the figures might be and observed how they changed.
I am experimenting with the technology I have at hand. You tube is great and I’m learning all I can. At the moment I can’t add audio to my film, but I can add music as provided by Youtube. This is a beautiful piece, and I added my audio separately as an MP3 file. The poem is longer than the footage. Please press play on the audio first and then the film and they should then finish together. How timely!
My dearest Vladi, I dedicate this poem to you.
Thank you for listening!
I’ve been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by my brother poet,
Nikhil of http://njpoems.wordpress.com/
I want to thank Nikhil, my brother poet who is always, always there for me. I’m also honored to watch him grow as a poet and a person. Which I feel is the internal reward for having the title, versatile.
I started blogging to reach out to like minded people. Now I have a growing network of blogger friends and it is so great to have this wider audience.
As you all know, I’m a poet, but I didn’t discover this until recently. The life of a writer can be lonesome when thoughts and feelings aren’t shared, and I’m very grateful to my friends for being there to help cultivate my work.
Brother Poet told me about some rules and as a nominee of Versatile blogger award, and I have to follow them.

My beautiful poem.
You are like that blanket.
You are open to those who see.
Those who hear.
Those who listen to me.
It is how I have found my voice.
Through my words will find it.
Will find my way.
My poem, it comes from within.
And inspired to grow.
With life and the intimate things I know.
I am inspired by it.
I like it.
I have an unconditional love for it.
I want to draw it.
The love for her is sweetly unexpected.
It is mild.
Like the heart of a child.
It breathes and grows.
In two worlds like the dolphin in the sea.
One breath above water for you and below it dwells for me.

I found this poem in some notes I had for writing my novel. It was timely so because lately I seemed to have lost inspiration to write poetry. I’m not sure why… is it simply writer’s block, or do I need to shift myself to that space again where I was writing poetry?
My poems are like the breaths I take, and they do take on different forms, as I continue to create in my spare time. Feel free to share your views and opinions, and as always I’m thrilled when people like my posts.
Thank you for reading.

Why do I need a poetry class to do what is in my heart?
Why do I need permission to write when the environment nurtures my art?
Why do I look for inspiration when I have it within?
Why did I travel the world to search for my gift to find laughter in my eyes?
Why did I return to you when all I needed was me?
Why did I proclaim possession of my soul when all I needed was to simply be.

I am very happy to let everyone know that soon I will be starting a tribal life forum. This idea was inspired by my friend and teacher, Gala Yakloveva.
She was inspired to come up with an idea to create a book about tribal dance because of my post Tribal Hair And Make Up. The idea is to turn the forum themes and discussions into a book.
I would like to invite my readers to click on the link, once I start the forum, which will take you to the forum. There you will find categories of topics or you can create your own. This is very exciting for me because I will continue to connect with my dance friends, strengthening our bond, of which distance will not break, and hopefully make some new friends as well from different parts of the world!
Thank you for reading, and I look forward to your thoughts,
